Description
Maria Antonietta Mameli’s photos are the result of a l process that begins with a photograph—in this case, the steady flow of people over New York’s Manhattan, and moves on to a meticulous post-production phase out the oblivious passers-by, isolating them in a vast field. This publication, with its unique accordion design reproduces the piece by the same name, in which this flow repeated for several meters along a wall, forming a frieze composed of myriad portraits.
