In his exhibition for ar/ge kunst Galerie Museum, the American artist Leander Schwazer focuses on the historical-iconographic aspect of the episode of the Abduction of Europa.
He reflects on the mythological theme, which itself became the archetypical model for various multifaceted works and visual terms, with the aim of working out its conceptual resonance within the history of European culture.
